Rising Singer Zima Kamimoto Documents Behavior by Former AssistantAfter Months of Growing Concern

An emerging American artist named Zima Kamimoto has released two emotional online
statements this month, alleging that a former personal assistant has continued to stalk and
harass her through anonymous calls, fake social-media accounts, and unsolicited in-person
service requests made under her name.
Kamimoto, 25, who maintains a modest but active online following from her music and
earlier cosplay content, first spoke publicly about the situation on December 1, saying she no
longer felt safe after months of strange behavior from a woman she identifies only as “Anita.”
She described private information appearing online, unsolicited messages sent in her name,
and harassment directed toward people in her circle, including family members of friends
who have no public connection to her. She said the individual appeared to possess private
details she had never shared publicly, raising concerns about how the information was being
obtained.
As this was happening, Kamimoto said the situation began affecting her personal life as well.
She stated that her former partner threatened legal action against her after believing certain
messages and online behavior were coming from her. She maintains these were not her
actions and describes the misunderstanding as another example of the stalker
impersonating her and creating conflict in her relationships.
Six days later, Kamimoto posted a second video, explaining that the situation had escalated
rather than calming down. She told viewers that within a day of her initial statement, she
began receiving repeated blocked calls late at night. The calls themselves, she said, were
not what kept her awake; it was an overwhelming feeling that “something terrible was about
to happen,” a fear she said persisted for days.
Two days after the calls began, a locksmith arrived at her home unexpectedly. Kamimoto
stated she had not scheduled any appointment and that the locksmith showed her a
message directing him to her address to “fix a lock issue.” She said the idea that someone
was arranging physical visits to her home using her information left her feeling unsafe in her
own space.
Screenshots shared publicly by the singer document some of the behavior she describes. In
one message, a close friend named Miranda is told, “Let me be clear Miranda Pimentel is
not safe around Zima,” an accusation presented without context or evidence. Another
screenshot shows an account that briefly appeared before being deactivated, in which the
former assistant allegedly referenced “calling ICE on someone.” Kamimoto stated the
targeted individual came from a fully American Hispanic family and said this type of
intimidation had not been part of the assistant’s behavior when they previously worked
together. She described the escalation as “strange” and “unsettling,” noting that the
individual had once asked her to spell people’s names, which she now finds suspicious.
The most extensive screenshots include long messages directed at Kamimoto in which the
sender makes a series of personal attacks. Among these are claims concerning a supposed
pregnancy, framed in hostile language and used to question her character, judgment, and
suitability for her career. In the same set of screenshots, the sender references an individual
identified only as Elliot, described as the alleged father, and claims he would be “happy” if
something were to happen to the singer — a statement presented without evidence and
consistent with the broader pattern of inflammatory language. Kamimoto herself has never
publicly discussed any pregnancy, and her statements make no reference to it.
Kamimoto also said she believes the former assistant deliberately shifts targets to individuals
who are harder to protect legally, making intervention more difficult. She described the
pattern as someone attempting to “break into my life piece by piece,” saying she fears the
situation could escalate into physical danger if it continues.
In her videos, Kamimoto said she feels unable to pursue formal action because the situation
spans different jurisdictions, involving individuals in multiple locations and legal systems.
According to her, this has complicated attempts to file reports, and those close to her who
tried to escalate concerns were told the behavior, while alarming, did not meet the necessary
threshold for authorities to act. With no clear pathway available, she has continued
documenting each incident publicly in an effort to keep an accurate record of what she says
has been happening.
Despite her relatively small public profile, Kamimoto’s statements have circulated widely
online, prompting concern from viewers who have followed the escalating incidents she
describes. Many have reacted to the involvement of unrelated third parties, the repeated
creation of accounts used to target her circle, and the intensely personal nature of the
messages attributed to her former assistant.
As the situation stands, all publicly available information originates from the materials
Kamimoto herself has shared. She has indicated she will continue posting updates as new
developments occur, saying the ongoing documentation serves as both a timeline of events
and the only form of accountability available to her while she remains without a clear legal
pathway forward.
