Q1. What is NRoute Academy, and why did you create it?

NRoute Academy, launched six months ago, aims to empower trainers, coaches, dietitians, and other health professionals by providing cutting-edge knowledge in the rapidly evolving health and wellness sector.

Currently, there is no continuous learning platform for these professionals, and we aim to fill that gap with NRoute Academy—helping them update and upgrade their knowledge.

We bring in domain experts from fields like medicine, nutrition, sports, and pharmaceuticals, allowing participants to learn directly from industry leaders. Our goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring professionals stay updated on market trends and deliver better outcomes for their clients.


Q2. What were the key objectives of today’s training session?

Today’s training session had three key objectives. First, to bring top domain experts to share insights with market makers, especially trainers, who play a vital role in shaping the industry. Second, to facilitate discussions where trainers could share pain points, exchange ideas, and network with peers.

Lastly, we introduced new initiatives under the NRoute brand, emphasizing our commitment to the trainer channel. While many brands have shifted focus to D2C, we firmly believe trainers are the backbone of the health and fitness industry, and we are dedicated to supporting and empowering them.

Q3. What trends do you see in the nutrition market, and how does NRoute position itself within these trends?

Two major trends are reshaping India’s nutrition market. First, D2C brands have changed how consumers discover and purchase nutrition products, making people more label-conscious and ingredient-aware.

Second, nutrition is no longer limited to gym-goers. People with active lifestyles—whether practicing yoga, cycling, or even older adults—now prioritize clean, effective nutrition. Parents are also seeking safe, ingredient-transparent products for their children.

While others prioritize D2C, NRoute will follow the omni channel approach & believe trainers are still key influencers. As consumers become more informed, trainers will face more questions and must stay equipped with the latest knowledge. We are investing heavily in the trainer community to ensure they stay updated and empowered to guide their clients effectively.


Q4. What functional areas does NRoute aim to address in the near future?

Since our launch four years ago, NRoute has focused on supporting healthy ageing across all life stages—from children to geriatrics. We began with sports nutrition and continue to enhance this area by incorporating world-class clean, patented bioactives and natural extracts, as seen in products like Creatine, Pep Up & Fire Fuel.

Our next big focus is heart health. We are excited to launch Heartisafe, powered by Fruitflow—a patented tomato seed extract that reduces platelet aggregation and improves blood flow. NRoute will be the first and only company in India to offer this product, addressing the country’s high burden of CVDs (cardiovascular diseases).

In the next 6-9 months, we will continue to expand our portfolio with scientifically-backed, clean functional products that empower healthier living across all age groups.
